The 560 students in grades kindergarten through six at Montvue Elementary School enjoy and benefit from an educational program focused on literacy and leadership. The activities at our school reflect an emphasis on learning and scholarship such as library programs, spelling bees and math and science fairs. They also learn positive social skills and citizenship. At parents’ request, the students of Montvue wear standardized (uniform) school clothes. Parents are always welcome and valued at our school. Montvue is a warm, caring place of learning and academic achievement for all students.
The Vision for all Pomona Unified School District students is that they are provided with an opportunity to learn the State and District standards that lead to success on the High School Exit Exam, as well as meeting college admission requirements. |
